Why did you choose to specialize in gastroenterology?

Dr. Eric Goldstein is a clinical instructor at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine and an attending physician at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York. Dr. Goldstein completed his residency in Internal Medicine and his subspecialty fellowship training in gastroenterology at Mount Sinai Medical Center. He is board-certified in gastroenterology and internal medicine and has authored numerous articles on Inflammatory Bowel Disease. His practice focuses on gastrointestinal motility disorders, Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD), and colorectal cancer screening. Additionally, he has particular interest and experience in the GI manifestations of adult Cystic Fibrosis. Dr. Goldstein prides himself on offering a wider breadth of diagnostic procedures than most New York gastroenterology practices, and he is well-regarded as an excellent diagnostician. Dr. Goldstein graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania and completed medical school at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He lives in Westchester with his wife and family.
